What is creative advertising?
The "creative" is what your prospect sees: the video or the image in the ad. On Meta and TikTok, it does most of the work. The algorithm shows your ad to the people who react to your creative. Good creative finds its customers on its own. Weak creative costs you on every impression, whatever the targeting.
A creative ad isn't an "original" ad. It's an ad that stops the thumb, makes the offer clear in a few seconds and gives a reason to act. The form serves that. Our form is motion design: animation in your brand, a voiceover, a soundtrack, text that reads with the sound off.
What $700,000 of ads taught us
On our clients' ad accounts, we analyzed more than $700,000 of Meta ad spend. The number that matters: 3 out of 4 people scroll past before the 3 second mark, and you still pay for every impression. Everything we write follows from that.
- The hook in the very first second: the audience, the problem or the price, never a spinning logo.
- One idea per shot, and on-screen text that reads with the sound off, inside the safe zones TikTok and Reels don't cover.
- The promise and what's included said early, not saved for the end.
- An end card with a single call to action.
The 4 hook system
A hook is the first 5 to 6 seconds, the ones that decide whether people watch or scroll. We keep the body of the ad and change the opening, with 4 genuinely different angles: the price, the problem, the demo, the contrarian take. You put all 4 in the same ad set. The algorithm shifts budget to the ones that hook, and you read results hook by hook in Ads Manager.
One angle is a bet. Four angles is a test, for the price of one production. And when an ad burns out, a fifth hook on the same core video costs $57, not a new video.
Motion design, live action or UGC?
All three have their place. A talking-head video builds trust when one person embodies the brand. UGC, the phone-shot testimonial, works for a product you can hold. Motion design shows what a camera can't: software, a service, a process, a price, a comparison. It spins into variations without reshooting anyone, it stays in your brand, and it doesn't depend on a face that wears out after three weeks.
That's why we chose motion design for our own ads, and why we offer it to our clients.
A creative agency that comes from media buying
Most creative agencies deliver files. We deliver files, and we tell you what to do with them: how to put the 4 hooks in one ad set, what budget to start with, how to read results, when to add a hook. That launch support is included in every pack, with a 14 day test plan.
Want us to run your campaigns too? That's where we come from. Bring it up on the call.
Formats, platforms and lengths
Every ad ships in 1:1 for the Facebook and LinkedIn feed, and in 9:16 for Reels, Stories, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The core video runs about 25 seconds, each hook about 5. Text stays inside each platform's safe zones, away from buttons and the page name. Captions are added when the format needs them. An extra language such as Spanish is $197; a first cut in 1 business day (Turbo) is $347.
